Well after a moderate winter at last the daffodils tell us SPRING is on the way. A few lucky pheasants that survived the shooting season look magnificant in amongst the crocuses!. Here at The Rectory our lovely building survived all the wind and rain that only England can throw at us. Soon there will be lots of events and concerts in the area and its great to see our historic houses opening once more. For others there are accommodation needs for Craft fairs, family occasions and businessmen alike. In our family riding and sailing are our childrens' hobbies and we have bought a new eventer for my daughter to compete on, Double Opposition!. We also keep a boat down in Devon when we are not making breakfasts! My 16.2 bay gelding hunter is also still fighting fit. Always by our sides is our faithful dog Elma (a yellow lab) and our new addition Ruby a little Jack Russell. Lets hope you may be visting when one of the many events in and around Lacock is on. Whether it is here to catch barbel in the River Avon or to enjoy a classic car for the week, to walk, cycle or just sample loverly Lacock, we welcome you to take part in a little bit of our life here in Wiltshire.
